Megan Fournier M.S., CCC-SLP, is a New Jersey licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Megan (Meg) is the owner and founder of Shoreline Therapy Services, LLC. Meg provides all services herself, including school contracts.

To date, Meg holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), a New Jersey State License and a NJ Speech Language Specialist Certificate. Meg has been practicing in NJ for the past 6 years and t has evaluated and treated individuals with different diagnoses. She has provided services in varied locations including schools, homes and daycares. Meg graduated from La Salle University (2016) with her bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and received her masters degree from Seton Hall University in Speech-Language Pathology (2018).

Over her career, Meg has developed a passion for diving into new experiences. She strongly values collaborating with other professionals, both inside and outside the field, to best serve her clients. She loves to provide therapy in various locations, focusing on a client’s individual needs and interests.

Meg has participated in various trainings including Visualizing and Verbalizing as well as Talkies by the Lindamood Bell program. Both programs focus on language development, and incorporating multi-sensory techniques into therapy sessions. Additionally, she has participated in ISME Orton-Gillingham (Intermediate and Comprehensive Levels) trainings. She loves literacy, and finds it imperative to increase professionals’ awareness of the connection between speech and literacy skills. Moreover, Meg is a registered Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) clinician, and focuses on language development, specifically Gestalt Language Processing. Her sessions focus on determining what approach best fits the child depending on how they process language. Every child’s therapy plan is individualized to their needs. In the area of speech, Meg is a PROMPT (Level 1) trained therapist who focuses on motor development and use of multi-sensory supports for speech production. She is currently completing several trainings focused on Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Throughout Meg’s career she has developed a passion in educating, training and supporting parents of the client’s she serves. Meg believes that every family is different, and it is essential to develop a personal, trusting relationship to address their needs and provide support that best fit their lifestyles.

Meg is originally from North Jersey, but she now lives at the Jersey Shore with her husband. In her free time she enjoys exercising, spending time at the beach and contacting with professionals on her social media page (@shorelinetherapyservices). Shoreline Therapy Services mission is to help children feel confident and empowered with their communication skills, and support parents in their child’s therapy journey.
